taylor allen
Full Time Coach at Noble Clay City of Refuge
Taylor was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, and grew up playing sports and spending time outdoors. She channeled her love for athleticism and fitness by pursuing her bachelor’s in Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise at Virginia Tech.
During her undergrad, Taylor worked as a student athletic trainer for the track & field team and developed an affinity for strength training and high-intensity interval training (HIIT). Taylor went on to receive her master’s degree in Global Health from Duke University and has had the opportunity to advocate for health access and quality care amongst vulnerable communities worldwide.
Catalyzed by her love for fitness, Taylor received her NASM certification and worked as a personal trainer in Florida before moving to Atlanta to coach with Noble Clay. Taylor has been blessed with the opportunity to specifically work with women based at City of Refuge who have been rescued out of sex trafficking and violence. Taylor’s manifesto is empowering these women to reclaim the narratives of their bodies and feel safe within themselves through movement and health education.
As a health and fitness coach, Taylor is passionate about holistic health and champions the importance of the mind, body and soul connection, especially through fitness. She believes movement can set the precedent for a balanced, healthy and determined lifestyle outside of the gym, and Taylor strives to help members explore and harness the power within.
